Equivalent Test Method for Strong Electromagnetic Field Radiation Effect of EED

The present study proposed the equivalent test method for strong electromagnetic field radiation of electric explosive devices (EEDs) weapon equipment to satisfy military requirements safety test, as well evaluation ignition, initiation ammunition, or missiles. Under stable conditions, ignition excitation and bridge wire temperature increase were performed determine EED. As radiated by field, relationship between intensity EED was developed based on theoretical analysis experimental test. Given EED, at 50% determined. compared with directly an error less than 1 dB caused. On that basis, correctness verified. Accordingly, this suggested act effective technical means evaluate ammunition missiles in unfavorable environments.
